lies

Don't Buy The Lie

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.”

— Matt. 4:16

The devil is an idiot. If you keep blaming him for the bad happening in your life, you need to come to the realization that…he’s an idiot. He’s a one trick pony. Deception is his game and if you allow yourself to be manipulated and deceived, you will become his victim.

I was driving in the car over to our office thinking about the power and potency of the name of Jesus—when the Holy Spirit painted a picture in my mind. There was a person in a dark room. The devil kept whispering lies to this person and they inevitably felt hopeless and defeated. The devil continued to say things like “you’ll never be free” or “theres no way out of this”.  The more the lies, the darker the room got. BUT when the Word came in, that dark room lit up! What seemed to be chains were nothing at all. Where there was no way to get out of the room, a door appeared!

Ya’ll this is why people remain stuck! The devils deception will make you feel like it’s the end, but Jesus is the light (John 1:4) that brings you out of your despair! It might be dark but all you need is the light of God’s Word to help you see the way out! (Psalm 119:105)

Here is some light for the darkness in your life;

There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives. Exodus 23:26

You will be blessed above all the nations of the earth. None of your men or women will be childless, and all your livestock will bear young. Deut. 7:14

“For I am the Lord who heals you” Exodus 15:23

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Psalm 147:2

He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. But his wounds you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. Isaiah 53:5

The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. Psalm 41:3

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.  He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Psalm 107:19-20

Jesus said to the woman, “You are now well because of your faith. May God give you peace! You are healed, and you will no longer be in pain.” Mark 5:34

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?” Ecc. 4:9

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her.” Eph. 5:25

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. Mark 10:9

and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me. Gen. 22:18

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Cor. 10-13

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Deut. 28:12

Can I overcome anxiety and worry for good?

Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all of your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about your watchfully.

— 1 Peter 5:6-7 AMP

Did you read that? Read and re-read the above scripture and meditate on it for a few minutes. Go ahead, I’ll wait. Did you see it? Once and for all! There is a way to live a life where every anxiety, every worry, and all which concerns you in life is banished ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Anxiety, worry, concerns, depression, those are all byproducts of fear. Once the revelation that you can live free from fear seeps in, the next step is casting your cares, ALL of your cares on God. There’s going to be moments when fear will try to strike you. It’s at that precise moment where you implement the Word of God.

When you cast something, you throw it away! The problem may still be there, the only difference is you're not the one holding it any longer! Don't go back and pick it up, leave it there! If you train yourself to never carry the burden the devil will throw at you, you will absolutely live a life free from anxiety, worry, and concern. You will live a life God intended for every believer to live because He cares for you watchfully!

You must do this kind of training on a daily basis. You can’t do it every now and again. To have maximized impact, it has to be done DAILY.

Pray like this,

Father this attack on my body, I give it to you. Your word says in James 4:7 that if I resist the devil he has to flee. I give this pain to you and refuse to worry about it one bit. Thank you for the blood of Jesus that made me whole. I receive your healing now! I refuse to worry or be anxious. I cast this care on you and refuse to pick it up! In Jesus name!

If it comes back, tell the pain to GO and refuse to linger or dwell on it for another moment. Then, continue to thank God for the healing He ’s already provided for you. Remember, God knows more about your care than you do. You don't have to convince Him to come through on your behalf, you simply obey His Word. That's what faith is! When you activate God's Word, the power of God will come behind you and erradicate every trace of sin and death.

Before you do any of this you have to humble yourself before God. Come to the realization that you need Him. You can’t do it alone. You’ve done all you can in your own power, now it’s time to let God take His place in your life. In Jesus name!
