God Has Your Back!

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you”

— Psalms 32:8

God has your back! If  you ever thought you were alone, you aren’t! If you ever thought you had no one to help you, you do! You and God make up the majority. If He is on your side, you’re going to be okay. 

Things may seem like they’re going haywire—disregard it. Allow your faith to kick and rest knowing God is your Father. He will instruct, teach and give you counsel in the way you should go. If you don't know where your life is headed to, you must reach out to God. 

If He knows the number of hairs on your head, He’ll know what your call and purpose is too. Don’t waste your time studying for a degree that you won't use. Time is too short to keep going around in circles. Allow the Holy Spirit to direct you in the way you should. He will. And it will be the easiest, most fulfilling thing you’ve ever done!

Living For Others

“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men
”

— Phil. 2:6-7


The greatest thing you can do with your life at this very moment is lay it down for Jesus. Jesus disregarded the fact that He was God in order to help us! Think about that for a moment! It’s a humbling thing to know all Jesus did for us. His love for us compelled Him to die a criminal’s death on the cross in order for us to be saved!

Verse 7 of Philippians 2 says, “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant”. Did you know that’s exactly what we must do? We have a service to do here on planet earth. That service requires everything you’ve got. It disregards the comforts of self and puts its emphasis on others. Humanity needs you. This world is in dire need of what you have to offer. The Gospel of truth must go forth. The Love of God must be shared. The oppressed must be set free.

Why look for someone to bless you when you can be the one that blesses? Why do something with strings attached? Why not bless someone who doesn't have the means to pay you back? Why not tell your coworker about Jesus? Why not lay your life down to help a lost and dying world? I’m not saying you have to DIE. The only thing you will die to is self preservation and self service.

The moment you live for the needs of others is the day you begin to live! What good is your wealth when you're the only one that benefits from it? Who cares about all you accrue when you’re dead and buried? The only thing that matters is the impact you have on the lives of others! That’s true prosperity! True success is what you do for others! Remember that this holiday season!

Restore The Sparkle in Your Eye

Turn and answer me, O LORD my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die.

Psalm 13:3

Some of you have lost that sparkle in your eye! Maybe you suffered the loss of a loved one, someone left you, you were diagnosed with a terminal disease or you lost your job—whatever it is, God can renew the lease on your life! When my body was attacked a few years ago fear infiltrated my life. With that came this overwhelming sense of jadedness. I was tired, fatigued and straight up bothered! Everything around me STUNK. When I began the next year I got on my knees and asked God to “renew the lease on my life”.

I felt I needed a new sense of purpose, a fire ignited within me, the sparkle in my eyes to be restored. And that’s exactly what HE did. Don’t allow yourself to dim! The devil wants you to be so miserable that you lose all hope. When you lose all hope, you lose the will to live. THAT IS NOT YOUR PORTION! I don't care how bad it looks right now, God can restore that light in your eyes. Look at how miserable David was! He was begging God for answers and was so hopeless that he preferred death. But a few chapters later he declares, “For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.” (Psalm 18:28)
 

God restored that sparkle in his eyes. God exalted him above all his enemies. God made him a sign and wonder to the world. David went from dejection to joy. That should revive your hope in God! This attack you suffered wasn't because of God. The devil is the one coming to steal, kill and destroy! God wants to give you LIFE in abundance. Never forget that. From this moment forward allow yourself to focus in on the wonderful things God will do in your life. He WILL light your candle, He WILL get rid of darkness. 

When I asked God to do that, He gave me specific instructions as to what I should do. He reminded me of things in the past that I never followed through with. Get ready! When you ask God to restore that sparkle, He will speak to you. So do it now! Get in your secret place and ask God to restore that sparkle in your eye! 2019 will be the best year you’ve ever encountered. Congratulations! 

Don't Give Up!

“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
”

— 2 Chro. 15:7

Look at how far you've come. You could have been dead right now but God has kept you alive! Sometimes, in the busyness of life, we can forget the bigger picture. You were designed to make impact. You were created to live a life more in abundant. You were  formed so that you could reflect the image of God. The work of your hands is the sacrifice you’ll present to God. Your obedience to God’s will and Word determines the eternal destination of a multitude of people. Re-read that last sentence twice over. If you give up now, people will go to hell! The YOU that’s alive and creating impact in this world is way better than a YOU that’s dead and in heaven. This world is better off because you are here.

Don’t allow yourself to be discouraged because things aren't happening as quickly as you want them to. Don't be tempted to throw in the towel and give up. I’ll repeat what God said in Isaiah 41:10, ”So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” You have the hand of God upholding you. When things seem like they're getting worse, rest easy. KNOW that your future is guaranteed. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” That word ‘future’ there means an “expected end”. God has given you an expected end! Do you see it? 

Whenever you feel discouraged, think about your expected  end. See yourself with that baby. Picture yourself with your spouse. Imagine yourself with all of your grand babies —strong and healthy in your old age. Think of all the ways you’ll bless people when your bank account reaches 1 millions dollars. Meditate on all the souls you’ll bring to heaven just because of your influence. Dream away the discouragement! 

Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Your harvest is due. Refuse to give up and quit. Deny the devil the power to intercept your thoughts. Speak out the Word of God louder than ever before! Prepare yourself for the greatest season of blessing you’ve ever had. In Jesus’ name! 

Make Room For Praise

“Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name

”

— Heb. 13:15

A sacrifice of praise is exactly what is stated, a sacrifice. A sacrifice is a something you must do—it’s an act of surrender. When you understand what praise unlocks for you, this act of surrender becomes something that is constant and easy. When you praise, you just do it. You don't talk to your emotions and see if they line up. You don't look around and see if things are perfect before praising God. When you sacrifice something, you kill it.

What are you killing? What you see, feel and worry about. Webster's dictionary defines sacrifice as “suffer to be lost for the sake of obtaining something”. It doesn't have to make sense in your head! The knockout force of praise will always paralyze the attack of the devil. You offer up the praise and you gain the victory. Yes, you lose your pity party, bouts of worry and constant fear but you gain FREEDOM. 

Don’t just do it once a week, do it constantly and at all times! Confess and glorify His name. Speak out words of thanksgiving to the King of Kings. Thank Him for the provision before you see it. Praise Him for perfect peace and strength. Sacrifice what you see and step into the realm of faith! Bishop Oyedepo says, “Praise is the highest form of prayer.”

So what are you waiting for?

4 Ways To Increase Your Joy

““…for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” ”

— Nehemiah 8:10

The joy of the Lord is a secret weapon given to every believer! It’s our strength and the only we can access anything from heaven! (Isaiah 12:3) Joy isn't something that’s mystical or ethereal. Joy is easily accessible! Here are 4 ways to amp up your joy- in fact, these are some of the ONLY ways to increase this wonderful heavenly force. 

1. KNOW GOD’S WORD - “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy.” (Psalm  2:10) Wisdom and knowledge are always found in God’s Word. That’s why it’s so important to get it! Look at what Proverbs 4:4-7 says, “He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Hosea 4:6 also says “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” If your well of joy is dry, keep digging for the water! Too many people don’t access joy because they don’t want to dig! The Bible likens the Word to water—Living water, a water that never runs dry, water that cleanses and makes new! Get in the Word for your continual flow of JOY. 

2. TRUST IN THAT WORD! - “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13) God just made a promise to you. He said He would fill you with joy and peace as long as you TRUST in Him. What does trust mean? Webster's says it right; “Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity.” Rest your mind on the integrity of God’s Word. When you rest in that knowledge, joy and peace belong to you! God’s promises do not rest on our name or ministry name, they rest on God’s name! When God promises something you can take it to the bank—that’s a check that will never bounce! So why doubt? Never questions God’s integrity…NEVER!

3. GOD’S PRESENCE- “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore..” (Psalm 16:11) The presence of God LITERALLY gives you everything you need. It brings clarity, it brings direction, it breaks the heavy burden and it brings joy! God’s presence is tapped into by your praise! Psalm 22:3 says God lives in the praises of His people! All you have to do is praise God. Praise Him for all He’s done and all He’s about to do! When you release those Words, faith begins to arise and God steps in! 

4. ASK! - “ Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” (John 16:24) There’s too many people out there afraid to ask! What will make your joy complete? Have you said it out loud, or are you afraid to? Is it getting married? Getting out of debt? Buying a house? VOCALIZE those things you want to be manifested in your life! Have the courage to ASK GOD and don't think small. All you’re required to do is ask. He never said “Ask AND figure it all out.” He simply said, ASK. 

If you do these things everyday for the next 21 days, your life won't even look the same! Do 10 minutes on each. 10 minutes to read, 10 minutes praise and 10 minutes to ask, then saturate it all with trust—rest in knowing God has already done it!

Break Through The Limitations

“
For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.


”

— Matt. 25:19

Are you victorious over your circumstances or a victim of them? There are loads of people who believe the blessing of God comes from their race, last name or geographical locations. Those things might help but they're certainly not the source of your blessing!  God is no respecter of persons (Rom.2:11). What He does for one, He’ll do for all. So why are some people more blessed than others? Capacity. 

The determining factor for your blessing resides in how much room you’ve made for it. Christians will live their whole lives without tapping into abundance. There are Believers who’ve been saved for 22 years that will die of sickness. Well-meaning Christians will struggle throughout life because they’ve not accessed the one thing that’s freely given to them—HIS WORD. Until we see ourselves the way God sees us, we’ll continue to view our lives in the scope of limitation. When we see our lives and circumstances through God’s Word ALL THINGS become possible to us! (Matt. 19:26)

The blessing of God rests on those who’ve qualified for it. Col. 1:12 says, “and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.” YOU ARE QUALIFIED to receive the inheritance BUUUUTTTTTTT, you have to know what the inheritance is! 

In Matthew 25:15 there were three men given talents, each according to their own ability. You see that? They were all given something according to the capacity they could handle! The one given the most, did the most. The one given the least not only did the least but was stripped of the talent he was given! This is a clear representation of how some Christians live their lives! They complain about God and say He’s a hard master when He’s the one given them the blessing to begin with!

This life you call yours is a blessing given to you by God. The breath in your lungs, God put it there. The eyes you see to read this, God made them see. The screen you’re using to view this blog, God made that possible for you. Coming to the realization of that is what makes some people prosper more abundantly than others. The more Word you ingest the more God can trust you for the blessing to be poured out in full measure. 

If you want to see a breakthrough in your life, you must let go of your limitations and cling to God’s Word. In it you’ll find there’s no limits to His blessing in fact, 1 Cor. 2:9 says, “"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” Drop the “I can’t” out of the equations. No more excuses. Take the Word of God given to you and MULTIPLY it!

The Blessing Of Job

“
When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! ”

— Job 42:10

No other book of the Bible has been more misinterpreted than the book of Job. For every person who believes that God sends destruction, loss and sickness, there’s a scripture from the book of Job to back it up. My question to those individuals is, have you read the WHOLE book? Did Job end up dead with everything lost?

After 41 chapters of utter chaos comes the realization that Job had no idea what he was talking about. No really. Job 42:6 says, “I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.” See that? EVERYTHING that he said before that point Job repented for! Even the ever so popular, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!” (said with a deep and slow religious voice)

Before you endeavor to buy into any doctrine that’s not good and perfect (James 1:17) make sure to study what the whole council of God’s Word says about it. I don't argue with people who want to stick up for a doctrine that blames God for misfortune and death. If they want to live their lives like that, they can have all of mine too! 

What about the double blessing at the end? If people want to mimic the life of Job, where is their double fold blessing of restoration? Where is the twice as much of what was lost? The book of Job doesn't end in Job’s death and defeat, God restored double all that was lost—INCLUDING HIS HEALTH. The book of Job represents God’s mercy, restoration and need for a Savior! Now that we have Jesus, our median, we can go boldly before the throne room of heaven and ask for mercy and grace when we’re in need! (Heb. 4:16) Remember, Jesus came to give you life and life more abundantly! The devil was sent to steal, kill and destroy! Don’t mix those up! If it doesn't fall under life more abundant, than it doesn't belong to you!

The Root Of All Evil

“
 For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves [through and through] with many sorrows.

There are powers at work against the establishment of the church. Why? Money. All they see is green. The Church was instituted to help the world! Did you know that? You were created to be the solution this world is in dire need of. There are forces at work, however, that are trying to dismantle the church. 

As a Believer you were instructed to care for those less fortunate than you. (Matt. 25:35-40) Our government was never supposed to play that role. Because of poor teaching about the blessing of God, the Church passed its responsibilities to the world. A world that does not know good from evil, who's intention is most often driven by greed. The help that’s offered from the world comes with strings attached. If they help you pay the bills, they’ll also help educate your children according to their own agenda. If they pay for some medical expenses they’ll also tell YOU how many vaccines your child should get. It’s an operation to keep the person in oppression! 

We have to get back to the root of the problems we see in this world. All kinds of wickedness, lawlessness and darkness links up with the LOVE of money. I’ve always heard “Money is the root of all evil.” But thats not what the Bible says! It’s the “LOVE of money” that’s the root of all evil! That love pushes people to do things with selfish motivations. For decades now Christians have been persecuted for believing in prosperity! How can you clothe the naked and feed the hungry when you’re experiencing lack? What kind of advice can you give someone in need, when you’re experiencing that need yourself? 

The Bible believing Christian must understand that the blessing of God doesn't just benefit them, it benefits the WORLD! We can talk about any topic under the sun on our broadcast, but the moment we talk about the blessing of God and money, the freaks come out of their dark corner. If we want to have the greatest impact in our nation and world, Christians must stand for the FULL GOSPEL OF TRUTH! 

Jesus spent more time talking about money and stewardship than any topic. No, money doesn't bring you happiness (JESUS DOES!) but it does solve problems! Knowing that makes you a contender to receive that kinds of blessing. More money in your hands means greater solutions to the worlds problem. Money taken from the hands of the wicked and put into YOUR hands paralyzes the schemes of the devil from taking place. 

Think about the impact the Church will have once its people understand the Abrahamic Covenant! Don’t get duped into thinking you weren't created for more, you were. Train your mind to be in wealth before you see it. He’s given you the power to create wealth! (Deut. 8:18) Let us be good representatives of God’s love. It’s the goodness of God that leads men to repent. When we embody that, we’ll begin to see the greatest revival this globe has ever seen.

Will The Real Christian Please Stand Up?

“For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until he who restrains is taken out of the way

”

— 2 Thess. 2:7

The church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful force on earth. That church is comprised of people like you and me! People who must not be lulled to sleep in the last days. The devil knows its strength and that’s the reason why the church is the most persecuted establishment on the face of this earth. We’ve been told to shut up and stay hidden. All beliefs are respected except those of the Christian faith. Everything is “tolerated” until you talk about the Bible.

This isn't the time to shut up and hide! We must come to together and stand up for righteousness. Your allegiance should be the Word of God! Everything that sides with wickedness should be fought against. We cannot allow ourselves to pacify truth under the guise of political correctness. Why can't we vocalize our beliefs? Why can't we stand up for the sanctity of marriage? Why should we tolerate our money funding the killing of unborn babies?

If you take your walk with Jesus seriously, you must be heard!

Proverbs 28:1 says, “The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.” God is on our side and if He’s on our side, no one can stand against us! People need what you have! You have the truth that will set the captives free. That’s a weighty responsibility and one you should take very seriously. This country needs your voice, the WORLD needs your voice.

Never side with something because it’s easy. Align your beliefs and thoughts with God’s Word. What do you believe in? Does it line up with God’s Word? If your belief system is established on race, sex or income bracket, you cap YOURSELF from receiving a greater blessing. Stick with the Word, stand up for the Word and watch it come through for you and your family! (Deut. 30:19)

Scare Tactics

“Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.
”

— Psalm 138:7

As a child of God, you have divine protection. There’s too much fear and anxiety going around our world today and most of it stems from this. “We all could die at any moment” is the lie too many people have bought into. When you get saved from something harmful, your safety is preserved.

They call the born again experience “Getting Saved” because you’re going from impending doom to a place of safety. When you get saved there’s a supernatural protection that gets on you! The angels of the Lord are encamped around you so much so they keep you from stumbling on a rock! (Psalm 91:10-12)

Psalm 91:14, “The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.” Don’t ever use scare tactics to get your children to obey you. Don’t operate in fear! Instead of “You need to be home by 8 pm because you could be killed by a drunk driver” say, “Get home by 8 pm or you’ll see the wrath of God manifest through your mommy/daddy.” You are protected. Everything that’s yours is protected. Though you may be surrounded by trouble God protects you from the anger of your enemies! He reaches His hand down and saves you! Not sometimes or when God’s in a good mood, He protects you all day, EVERY DAY. Read Psalm 91 in it’s entirety until you snap yourself out of that kind of fear.

You are blessed! Goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life. You are destined for success. Your seed will be mighty on this earth. With long life will God satisfy you. In Jesus’ name!

The Shadow Of Death

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

”

— Psalm 23:4

Sometimes the devil will tempt you to think you’re much worse off than you really are. Don’t fall into that trap! You must begin to speak to your circumstances every day. Speak to your body. Speak to your money. Speak over your marriage. Release a word in order to shut the mouth of the devil.

Psalm 23:4 says, even when you WALK THROUGH the shadow of death…see that— WALK THROUGH. Don’t allow yourself to drown in your sorrow, pain or defeat. Quit camping out where God’s instructed you to walk through. KEEP MOVING FORWARD. I also find it very interesting that it says the “valley of the SHADOW of death”. Have you ever seen a shadow that killed anyone? It may appear that things look really bad but pass on through, IT’S A SHADOW! Darkness has to flee when the light is turned on.

In the latter part of that verse it gives you the reason why you should NEVER FEAR the shadow! He is with us! Emmanuel! He protects us by beating our enemies with His rod. Cancer is pulverized, poverty is defeated, failure is crippled because God leads us with His rod. His club keeps us right in the path we should be on. We may get distracted or do things that don’t benefit us but with His staff, He gently draws us in to the way we should go. Oh what promises are afforded those who seek refuge from the Lord and make Him their shepherd!

Drop off fear. If you're tempted to be in fear and anxiety remember it’s all smoke and shadows. The truth is you are healed, delivered, set free, above and never beneath, blessed when you come in and when you go! Receive that today, in Jesus’ Name!

God’s Word Over Everything

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matt. 6:33”

Who and what you’re loyal to determines the course of your life! It’s so important as a Believer  to stand up for righteousness. This righteousness is found in the Word of God. Too many Believers have created their reality on some philosophy, emotion or belief outside of the Word of God— to their demise. 

The reason the Bible was created was for the benefit of God’s people. In it lies every answer to your problems. The way to prosperous living is found in this life’s manual, the Bible. When we adhere to its instructions we get a life that’s more abundant; a life that is specifically designed for the child of God. 

If we allow our circumstances and surroundings to dictate how we feel and believe, life becomes a battle that cannot be won. If we allow our ethnicity, gender or upbringing to define our future, we’ll have a limited one AND for some there will be a major disadvantage. If we, however, draw to God’s commands and live by them, theres nothing thrown at us that can block the blessing of God. Life isn't fair, life is what you make of it. 

From this point forward, when you put God and His Word first, your disadvantage becomes your source of unstoppable blessing. What the devil threw in your path to harm you is turned for good. What the devil stole from you comes back to you doubly! The decision therein lies with you! What are you going to honor in your life? What will you hold as your standard in life? What is going to determine whats right and wrong? Stick with the WORD OF GOD!

A Prophetic Word

“If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will be given the same reward as a prophet. And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs.

”

— Matt. 10:41

A Word of God is just that, a Word of God. When a man or woman of God preaches the Word, they speak the Words of God concerning an area. Maybe it’s for miracles, financial breakthrough or deliverance, whatever it is, the Word that’s being preached is preparing a table for the people. 

At that table, all of God’s promises are being plated until there’s so much to eat, that the people are called to partake of it! Anyone can freely eat from the table of the Lord but the choice is entirely up to the individual. Is it any wonder then that some people receive the Word and it manifests in their lives and others don’t.

A prophetic word is the birthing place to a promise fulfilled. It’s up to you to contend for it. It’s up to YOU to not give up and quit. It’s up to you to get the ball going in the right direction. It’s up to YOU to stand firm to the Word of the Lord. 

“I got a word from a preacher and it didn't come to pass” is the anthem of the clueless believer. Follow the instructions in God’s Word to see your promises manifested. He didn't leave us here to forsake us and have us figure it out in our own strength! Heb. 13:5 says, “I will never leave your nor forsake you!” God is no respecter of persons (Rom. 2:11), what He did for one He’ll do for you! Get what belongs to you! Make room for what belongs to you. Stay in thanksgiving because it’s already yours. In Jesus name!

Invisible

“
For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God”

— Colossians 3:3

Satan doesn't have access to you! Remember that! Too many people allow defeat to take place in their life, they actually make room for it. Some people convince themselves that life is too good for something bad NOT to happen—inevitably you get what you allow and an attack happens. But the Bible says you are hidden with Christ! 

There’s no attack that can come near you! The devil is NOT omnipresent (being present everywhere), omniscient (all knowing) or omnipotent (having all power). He’s a fraud. He’s a fake. He is powerless. He’s a dope. He has no idea where you are if you’re hidden in Christ Jesus. 

Look at what Ephesians 1:21 says, “Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.” As Christ is, so are we in this world! (1 John 4:17) You are seated ABOVE all ruler, authority, power, leader, or anything else! You cannot be touched! You cannot be defeated! 

The devil isn't on the same playing field as you, in fact, he’s under your feet! (Romans 16:20) You are strong. You are fearless. You are courageous. You never have to be attacked. You never have to wage war with satan. You are MORE than a conqueror. All you have to do is accept it and walk in it. 

No sickness can come near you. No failure can succeed. You have the mind of Christ. You have God’s grace working on the inside of you. That grace is made available through the blood of Jesus for overwhelming victory! Put the devil to shame and shut the door that would allow for him to “attack” your life. HE CAN’T EVEN SEE YOU!

Walk On Water

“
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

So He said, “Come.”

Things are happening around us good and bad. What we focus on is what will be magnified. If you continue to look at the problem, the problem gets bigger. If you keep your eyes on God, God gets bigger. It’s that easy. YOU make the choice as to what it is you’ll fix your eyes on. 

I went to bed last night with the image of Peter walking on the water. By God’s simple command to “come,” Peter walked out and did what His Savior did! Why then did he begin to sink?

Matthew 14:30 says, “But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!””

What we keep our eyes on will determine our life’s outcome.  

It was easy to see the strong winds and rough waves—Peter had been seeing it all night! The thing that made him rise above natural order was Jesus’ WORD—“Come”. His Word sustained the provision to walk on water. Jesus’ command broke all natural law by causing the waters to firm up with every step taken. It was only when Peter took his gaze off of Jesus that he began to sink. 

Don’t take your eyes off of Jesus. 

His command for you is still “Come”.

Matthew 11:28-30, “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

That spirit of heaviness must be done away with once and for all. How? By keeping your eyes on the Savior. Don’t lose sight of Him. Don’t let go of His Command!

Isaiah 61:3 says, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.” You are a tree of righteousness! Glorify God by walking in His freedom. Free from all fear. Free from what it may look like. Stay focused and fixed on His Word and begin to walk in the supernatural! 

Are You Saying It?

“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor resist.

”

— Luke 21:15

A great man of God by the name of Bishop David Oyedepo said, “A closed mouth is a closed destiny.” The reason most Christians remain unfruitful in life is because they haven't allowed themselves to SPEAK out the Word of God. We must remember the power of life and death are in the spoken word. (Proverbs 18:21)

What you say makes a reality for you. Where you are today is because of what you said yesterday! If we knew our futures depended on what we release out of our mouths TODAY, wouldn’t we be more careful with what we say? Everything you see around you is sustained by the mighty power of His command. (Heb. 1:3) It all began with a spoken Word! 

If you’re bold enough to believe the Word—you must be bold enough to speak the Word! Tell your problems to go back to hell where they came from. Tell that sickness and disease to pack its things and GO. Tell your marriage to be fruitful. Speak to your bank account and tell it to flourish (if you’re a tither and a giver of course). Tell yourself you’re beautiful. Tell your brain to be sharp and creative! SPEAK OUT THE PROMISES OF GOD. Like…right now…go ahead. Thank me later.

Selfish.

“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

— Phil. 2:3

Webster’s Dictionary defines selfish as “Regarding one's own interest chiefly or soley; influenced in actions by a view to private advantage.” God has no selfish qualities about Him. In fact, He cared so much about man’s good, that He gave all He had, His only Son! (John 3:16)

If you’re a believer you must die to selfishness! If you’re in the ministry, this ESPECIALLY applies to YOU! You are not God’s  gift to the world, Jesus is. If you carry yourself as though everyone should serve you, you’ve missed the point of what Jesus did! 

Do remember in John 13 when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples? He embodied humbleness and unselfishness. He put THEM first! If you aren't putting people first in your life, you’ll neglect the power of love. When you neglect Love, you neglect God, because God is love! (1 John 4:7)

Love has to motivate you. It’s the only thing that’s going to matter. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 says, “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;a but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” What good is your life if you live for yourself. 

What are you hopes and desires? Is it to get rich and famous? To amass hundreds and millions of dollars? To get 10,000 followers  on social media? Or is it the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness? This is the one things that will allow God to promote you! He chooses those who are of one heart and mind with His. His mind is to save a lost and dying world. “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16)

Double Mindedness

“Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. ”

— James 1:8

We must have a determination to pursue the things of God. Your loyalty can't be divided. This double-mindedness cannot stay in you if your desire is to be a success. This unsettled, undetermined, unstable and wavering mentality in a person must be done away with.

Whether you’re believing for a Godly spouse, total healing or a financial miracle, you must be one sided! Philippians 1:6 says, “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” What you’re confident of never requires a second look. When you’re confident about something, you rest— knowing doubt can’t infiltrate. 

As a Believer, we must walk daily in this kind of confidence in God and work at it! Is there anything that’s causing you to doubt? Find 3 scriptures and kill the doubt. Have you been disobedient in acting upon the Word? Be determined to do it—NOW! James 1:22 says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” When you don't ACT on the WORD you DECEIVE yourself! The greatest obstacle to your destiny is YOU. 

Make the decision today, that you are SOLD OUT to Jesus Christ. Don’t allow doubt to come in. Don’t read the Word and NOT apply it so as to deceive yourself. God said He would give you life and life more abundantly. If you haven't seen that, get back to the drawing board (The Word) and freely walk in this way you should go!

Defy The Natural

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Do you really think God has limitations? 

The Creator and Maker of the World. 

The Beginning and The End. 

The First and The Last. 

The Great I AM.

The Great Physician.

The All Powerful One.

The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, 

The God of Oyedepo, Adeboye and Copeland.

If that’s your God, HE HAS NO LIMITS!

NOTHING is impossible with God! The very birth of Jesus was out of natural order. The parting of the Red Sea was supernatural. The very resurrection of Jesus defied mans natural order! 

God is not confined to the natural. How can He be? A supernatural God is…well…supernatural. So why then must we convince ourselves that our case is impossible? Why must we continue to doubt that God will come through? Don’t believe the lie! 

There’s nothing you’ve done that God won’t forgive. There’s no stage 4 cancer that God can’t consume. There’s no marriage too far gone to rescue. Believe the God that’s alive and well. He’ll rise to the occasion..your occasion. When you see defeat, limitation and failure, God sees, victory, possibility and glory! 

Don’t put God in a box! Remind yourself of Luke 1:37, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD! If you serve Him, allow Him to take His proper place in faith.
